What products can I have laser engraved?We offer drinkware, awards, signs, gifts, journals, and more — including specialty and custom items.
How do I place an order?For standard items, order directly on our website. For custom projects, use the “Custom Order” option and tell us your vision.
What is your turnaround time?Most in-stock items ship next day. We allow up to 3 business days to ensure perfection. Rush service available!
Do you offer bulk discounts?We work with you to find cost-effective solutions for bulk orders. While we don’t offer flat discounts, we ensure value.
What are your shipping options?We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Local pickup/drop-off is available in Leavenworth, KS.
Can I see a proof before engraving?Yes! For custom orders, we provide complimentary proofs. For standard items, visual examples are on each product page.
Artwork & Setup
What file formats do you accept?Vector: .ai, .eps, .cdr, .pdf
Raster: .jpg, .png, .tiff (300 dpi minimum)
Where do I send artwork?Upload during checkout or email to: themajor@majorsmark.comDo you charge a setup fee?Not with usable art. We only charge if significant design work is needed.
What is a vector file and why is it preferred?Vectors scale perfectly, allowing crisp, detailed engraving.
What if I only have a raster image (like JPG)?If it’s 300dpi+, we can use it. If not, we offer vectorization for $30.
What if I don’t have usable artwork?We can create or clean up artwork for you. Design fees quoted based on complexity.
What are text requirements for engraving?Fonts must be converted to outlines or sent with the design. For glass, text should be at least 0.08″ tall when scaled.
Why do you need font files or outlines?To preserve your design. Otherwise, we may substitute with a similar font.
Can you resize my logo?Yes. We’ll scale it appropriately to fit the product’s imprint area.
Who is responsible for copyright/trademark permission?You are. We assume you have rights to use any provided content.
Materials, Care & Returns
How should I care for my engraved items?Wood: Dry cloth
Acrylic & Plastics: Damp cloth, no abrasives
Glass: Handwash
Leather: Use conditioner
Metal: Soft cloth
Are returns accepted?Because items are custom engraved, returns are not accepted. If we make an error, we will correct it.
Do materials vary?Yes — wood, leather, and other natural materials may vary in tone, grain, and engraving effect.
Can you engrave fine details?Usually, yes — but material texture can impact final results. We’ll advise based on your project.
Do you have holiday deadlines?Yes! We publish order cutoff dates before major holidays. Please order early to ensure timely delivery.
